Allora Network <> AWS Web3 Activate & Blockchain Node Runners Integration

Allora Team
July 8, 2024

Announced on July 7th, 2024 on-stage at the Open AGI Conference, developers can now seamlessly provision AWS resources to rapidly deploy an Allora Worker node–the instantiation of a specific machine learning (ML) algorithm on the Allora Network–by leveraging the easy-to-use Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) Blueprint and application collaboratively built by Allora Labs and AWS.

In support of the teams launching Allora Workers via AWS Blockchain Node Runners, Allora Labs has been accepted as an official AWS Web3 Activate Provider, enabling eligible teams to receive up to $5,000 in AWS Activate credits towards running Worker nodes on Allora, in addition to specialized business and technical support.

“This is a major step forward for enabling developers to contribute to Allora’s collective intelligence,” says Nick Emmons, CEO and Co-founder of Allora Labs. “Machine Learning engineers and data scientists who want to contribute to and earn from the Allora Network can now stay focused on developing the best possible models and leverage this Node Runners integration to easily bring those models onto the Allora Network.”

Worker nodes on the Allora Network provide AI/ML-powered inferences to the network, contributing to Allora’s self-improving, decentralized machine intelligence network. Powered by the Allora Network’s context-awareness, these inferences are reputation-weighted and aggregated to generate a single AI inference that is more accurate than any one model in the network can produce.

Deploy Allora Worker Nodes with AWS Blockchain Node Runners

Using AWS Blockchain Node Runners, an open-source initiative for deploying self-service blockchain infrastructure, ML developers will be able to deploy Worker nodes to the Allora Network, empowering them to:

  • Rapidly iterate from model development to deployment, decreasing their time-to-revenue
  • Leverage a suite of AWS services, including Amazon Elastic Cloud Compute (EC2), Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS), AWS Systems Manager, AWS Cloud9, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
  • Meaningfully contribute to the accuracy and decentralization of the inferences generated by the Allora Network

Optimize Deployment of Allora Worker Nodes with AWS Activate Program

Allora Labs is pleased to participate in the AWS Web3 Activate Provider Program, which provides support to developers who want to deploy Worker nodes on the Allora Network. Using AWS Activate credits and resources, developers can efficiently deploy and operate Worker nodes.

Here are the primary benefits for developers related to this program:

  • Reduced costs associated with deploying and managing Worker nodes on the Allora Network by using AWS credits;
  • Access to technical expert guidance, driving quick resolution of any issues that arise during the deployment and maintenance of Worker nodes;
  • Access to AWS Startups, including tools and services that can further support their work.

Get Started

ML developers contributing their models to Allora can now focus solely on their core skillset, and start deploying Worker nodes on the Allora Network by following the AWS Blockchain Node Runners documentation. These materials provide a thorough guide, arming developers with the necessary information to easily deploy Worker nodes, empowering their contributions to the Allora Network.
