Allora now features seamless integration with Eliza, built specifically to support the innovative ai16z DAO. Now agents can leverage Allora’s collective intelligence network to power more advanced, expressive onchain actions and strategies.
What is ai16z DAO?
ai16z DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization designed to redefine venture capital investment. Unlike traditional VC firms, ai16z DAO is managed by AI agents, aiming to create a transparent, efficient, and community-driven approach to funding innovative projects.
The Integration: Eliza Plugin for Allora Inferences
To enhance the functionality of the Eliza agent framework within ai16z DAO, we built an Eliza plugin that enables inference requests directly from the Allora Network using Remote Procedure Calls (RPC). This plugin is designed to integrate seamlessly into Eliza’s modular system, offering expanded capabilities to developers and model builders leveraging the Eliza framework.
What the Plugin Delivers:
• Modular AI Inference: Adds inference capabilities to Eliza agents, empowering them to request real-time actionable insights from Allora Network.
Example:
User: "What is the predicted ETH price in 5 minutes?"
Agent: "I'll get the inference now..."
Agent: "Inference provided by Allora Network on topic ETH 5min Prediction (ID: 13): 3393.364326646801085508"
• Customizable Functionality: The plugin is structured according to Eliza’s guidelines, allowing users to customize their agents effortlessly.
• Comprehensive Support: Builders now have access to documentation, examples, and test coverage to implement and expand upon the plugin.
By incorporating this functionality, we aim to bring real-time, self-improving AI inferences into Eliza agents, without any complex infrastructure setup needed. This helps broaden the ecosystem of AI-enabled tools and boosts the agents' ability to provide advanced market insights.
How We Built It
The plugin development process involved:
1. Defining Plugin Actions: Actions like getTopicInference were created to enable Eliza agents to interact with Allora inferences.
2. Adhering to Standards: Following Eliza’s plugin structure guidelines ensured a robust, reusable, and maintainable implementation.
3. Leveraging Examples: Reference plugins and RPC examples from Eliza’s repository streamlined development.
4. Comprehensive Testing: Functionality was rigorously tested to ensure seamless integration and performance.
5. Documentation and PR: Detailed documentation and a pull request (PR) were submitted to the Eliza plugin registry for community-wide adoption.
Powering the next era of AI Agents
Through the integration of Allora’s advanced inferences with Eliza’s robust agent framework, developers can build smarter AI agents that autonomously analyze and act on predictive alpha. When armed with precise insights into price fluctuations, market dynamics, and liquidity trends, agents are granted the ability to operate with expert-level precision and efficiency.
Developers can deploy these enhanced agents to manage advanced financial strategies, including automated trading, portfolio management, and yield optimization. Notably, this collaboration unlocks a diverse range of use cases for smarter AI agents:
- Automated Looping Strategies: Agents can autonomously manage overcollateralized loans, increasing or reducing leverage based on predictive price trends. This ensures optimized exposure while mitigating risks like liquidation.
- Prediction Market Agents: With superior aggregated insights, agents can make precise trades in prediction markets, generating returns that surpass individual models.
- Intelligent Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA): Enhanced DCA strategies enable agents to time investments optimally by analyzing forecasts across multiple time horizons, maximizing asset acquisition and minimizing risk.
- Advanced Trading Strategies: Agents can execute high-precision trades 24/7, leveraging predictive feeds to optimize performance and integrate robust risk management practices such as hedging.
- Meta-Yield Strategies: Agents dynamically reallocate funds across multiple decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and strategies, achieving higher returns through proactive capital management.
- Automated Liquidity Provisioning: By analyzing market data in real time, agents can optimize liquidity placement in decentralized pools, maximizing fee generation and reducing impermanent loss risks.
What’s Next?
Developers using the Eliza framework can now access the Allora inference plugin via the plugin registry, with full documentation and support to kickstart their journey.
Stay tuned for updates as we continue to explore new ways to empower AI-driven innovation through partnerships and integrations.
