With a range of topics to inspire and guide, the competition will empower participants to showcase their creativity, technical prowess, and expertise in model development.

What is Model Forge?

Model Forge is designed to be a competition and a collaborative experience, where talented minds from across the machine learning landscape come together to build solutions addressing real-world challenges. Using Allora’s Model Development Kit (MDK), participants can leverage a streamlined toolkit that simplifies every stage of model development, from design to deployment on the Allora Network. This enables developers to focus on model performance, creativity, and impact, regardless of their prior experience in ML.

Participants in Model Forge will craft high-performance models, driving forward Allora’s collective intelligence and setting new standards for predictive accuracy and innovation.

Challenge Topics

For its first edition, Model Forge challenges participants to create predictive models that tackle critical forecasting tasks. With a focus on the financial sector, this edition invites developers to build models around the following topics:

1. ETH Price Prediction (1a): Predict Ethereum price in 5-minute intervals.
2. ETH Volatility Forecasting: Develop a model to capture Ethereum’s volatility, updating every 5 minutes.
3. USDC/ETH Volume Prediction (2a): Predict trading volume on the UniV3 Arbitrum network** for USDC/ETH pairs in 5-minute intervals.

These topics are crafted to inspire impactful solutions, with the MDK enabling participants to build and deploy models with precision, accuracy, and scalability.
